This is the badge used by members of the 76th's Medical Corps. The the badge is composed of 8 red squares; 4 of the same size on the outer, and 4 of 1/9th the size on the inner, all contained within a white octagon with a black border.
The geometry involved is a pretty neat factor. It reminds me of I think the 99th us infantry division's symbol, with all of the squares and such. I like it.
Thank you! Yeah, it does give off an almost checkerboard vibe, but then you look closer and realise it's exactly the same on the outside, but appears checkered due to the position. I like that about it.
