Wanted to try using the sculpey model I made of this walker as a reference for a drawing. Sped the process up right quick, even though the model is not as accurate as I'd like.

Neat! Where do walkers fit into Epiverse?

Also, you sculpt, too?! I can only imagine that has a pedigree in wargaming.

After the extensive re-structuring of the world, these walkers don't really fit into the time period I've been using as the "present" (which is closer to mid-cold-war era tech). Eventually I'll be adapting them into the new revised world, just at a much later period in-universe.

I've done just a little sculpting; I'm not super great at it to be frank. These days I prefer to work out 3d objects on the computer in sketchup :)

Oh, wonderful! And I just asked if you'd be doing that in a previous comment xD Oh well. Least I have an answer!

Hey, sculpting's hard. Have you ever messed around with a 3d Printer?

I've not made any 3d prints myself, but I do have a little 3d-print of a space ship I helped a fellow artist design for their animation thesis in college. I'd like to look more into it in the future though.

dang you sure know how to draw these walkers very realistic looking as if they existed^^ since I really like how the weight is distributed between the wide feet making it easy to imagine how it would walk^^

just pitty the poor insurgents that has to battle this monster =P

Thanks! I designed them from the beginning to have a very animal stance of looking "ready to pounce", makes them look both stable and dynamic.

That torso most definitely looks like the shoop face.

XD hadn't thought of that. Didn't mean for the center to be completely black, probably why I never noticed it before.
