question about the comic!
should I skip the walking scenes that are not relevant? like, if you read the first chapter you probably noticed there are some scenes where the character is walking but nothing really important happens, should I skip that and only add walking scenes if there's something important/interesting to them? or do you like seeing the characters walking X'D

this is mostly to save time and resources when working on the comic, but idk if you like to see the locations while the character walks, they're skippable anyway

I didn't really mind the walking scenes, but some of it didn't necessarily add anything to the story, so, especially if it will save you the time and energy, I think that you could do away with the lengthier ones.
And I'm looking forward to chapter 2, btw — good luck! ~:star:

yup, I mostly added some scenes so people could see the locations and picture how was the place there're living on X'D
but yeah, probably will remove the walking scenes that don't add anything relevant to the story owo

and thanks :'D!

And it was enjoyable — you put a lot of hard work into it, I'm sure, so I am by no means demeaning the time and effort you've already spent on your work, because it is lovely.

I think since you already know that they're not relevant you should skip them, especially if you can save time and unnecessary work by avoiding them! Or at the very least implement them in a way where they don't cause extra work for you and the readers. 'o'

The style of your comic reminds me of an rpg maker game, and while in those games there are walking scenes like that to immerse the player in a game, it's okay because the player has full control. But in a comic a reader doesn't obviously have control and the scenes just add more work to click through the pages which might make them feel bored. At least that's how I see it. Also there are some scenes where I don't know where they begin or end so I accidentally skip over the animations and it makes me feel like I might have missed something, or I stay too long in a scene waiting for something to happen but realize I'm supposed to click next as the animation already ended. x'D

I can understand why you have them for pacing reasons and I like your idea of having them if there's something important/interesting to them! However if you do want to keep them as separate scenes or only include them when something important happens, I suggest speeding up the walk cycle because it feels too slow and it messes with the pace of things.

In any case do what you feel is best for the flow of your comic!^^

yup, that's exactly my thought, I'm thinking about maybe just showing them the first time and then when the character has to come back skip them, mostly for people too see the locations and picture the place a little better, but when the walking scene is too long and nothing important happens (for example from Kira's house to the city) I'm really considering to completely skip them unless there's something important happening there ovo

"there are some scenes where I don't know where they begin or end so I accidentally skip over the animations and it makes me feel like I might have missed something, or I stay too long in a scene waiting for something to happen but realize I'm supposed to click next as the animation already ended" this was on purpose on the first chapter, that's why I kinda put some dialogues while the characters were walking, but it was also to justify a little the scene so it wouldn't get really boring X'D, in most cases when you ara able to skip a scene is because nothing important happens, the most you can miss is some random dialogue, like when Mad said that Kira's house was a cliché X'D

speeding up the scenes would look a little awkward in my opinion, skipping the whole scene if nothing important happens would be better, if there's a bit of a walking and then something important you can skip the walking part and go directly to the event ovo

ah okay! I'm glad I'm not missing out on anything important if I do choose to skip it. xD
and I see. I'm sure whatever you choose to go with will be great! I can't wait to see the next installment of the comic!<3

oh, they way I'm working the chapters there's not need to turn them into videos and it would be a little difficult for me to pull that together without breaking the chapter format
I have no problem making the gifts and they don't usually give me technical issue since I can break them in small parts and the put them together in flash where they'll animate just fine,
I was mostly referring to skip the whole "characters walking long distances without anything relevant to happen" scenes to save time when making the scenes and for readers to not get bored to having to watch the characters walking a lot without nothing important to have place :0

Hmm well on one hand they do take a while unless you skip them, but on the other I liked seeing the scenery and stuff at times
But I'd say if it'll be easier on you to leave them out, then do that. :3c

it definitely makes the making of the comic a bit slower but they're not really hard to do, removing them would save up some time for me and the readers and will also make the file size to be lighter, on the other hand, I took my time to design the locations so I want people to see them X'D
maybe showing them only the first time and then skip them unless something important happes?

Yess the locations look really nice, I enjoyed seeing them ;u; But I remember somewhere in the comic you mentioned the animation took a lot of frames and over-worked your computer, so leaving them out might be the best choice in the long run hhnn
Or maybe have the character walk halfway through the location, then fade to the next place or whatever unless something is going to happen? So it only takes half the time/frames but we still get to see the scenery that you spent the time to design, and get an idea of how they got from point A to point B rather than them just poofing there?

I actually found a way to solve the over-worked computer issue, it's easier to break the gifs in parts and the put them together in flash, but still scenes like that are too long for having people waiting for something to happen, I like the idea of the scene fading to the next place, but maybe doing half through would be a little abrupt, but I'll consider it ovo
actually I thought something similar to the fading but it would be more like, the character walks to the end of the first location, screen fades out and the fades in to the final location, that way it could be assumed that they walked the whole way without having to show it, kinda like in the scene where Kira goes through the forest and appears in the city, there were supposed to be more places in between but I just skipped them since they were not relevant ovo

y e p probably XD or if possible you could speed em up??? idk I can't tell whether they have important information or not and that's a lil bit of an issue sometime, but do what's easier for you!!

speeding them up would look kinda weird idk X'D
usually when something important happens you skip directly to the event, if not you skip the full scene to the next scene, I'm mostly considering to remove them when the distance is too long, for example from Kira's house to the city there're like 5+ locations to go through and nothing really important happens on them, I could just have them leaving the house and then appearing in the city, in case anything important should happen the scene would be somewhere in between :0

ohhhhhh that's what you mean XD I thought you meant the animation of her walking from one end of the street to another with no events l o l X

ye, you can skip the scenes if theres nothing interesting XD it would give us more content
