In A Steampunk Desert
In a land scorched by the unrelenting sun, the Cliffs of Brass rose like jagged teeth out of the golden sands. These towering spires, adorned with the mechanical relics of an ancient civilization, stood as monuments to a forgotten age where steam and clockwork ruled the world. The air shimmered with the heat of the afternoon, and the whirring of cogs echoed from distant towers, creating a haunting melody.
Atop one of the cliffs, perched precariously on the edge, was the Timekeeper's Tower, an intricately designed structure of bronze and glass. Its massive clock face glowed faintly, powered by the shifting sands below, and its hands turned with the precision of a finely tuned machine. The Timekeepers, an elusive order of engineers and scholars, guarded this tower with their lives. Legend told that the tower housed the Chrono Engine, a machine capable of bending time itself.
