I've been pretty busy, not too busy for dA but I haven't taken many photos in a while either. There is a reason though, we found out at the end of February that we are expecting!

Even better if you are wanting to break into the portrait/wedding photography business. Basically, since you are my friend, I wouldn't be able to pay much, and I'd want the digital negatives myself, but what happened is this:

Our wedding was moved indoors downtown. I had an entire folder of outdoor "woodsy" pictures that I wanted taken. Chris and his guys head to the bar rather than sticking around for pictures. We don't get many of the pictures that I was hoping to get with Chris and I. I want to take said pictures now that the wedding is over, so I put together a bouquet, get my hair done, we wear our wedding outfits, you take the pictures, put them in your portfolio, build up your portfolio without having to charge models, and you get practice plus learn from me, a portrait photographer.

Anyone interested? Please, I'd like to get these done soon, before the leaves fall off the trees.

My art is up there now, through the end of July.

The above images were entered and accepted in the Juried Art Exhibition at the Hjemkomst in Moorhead. The show runs from July 1 to September 29 with a public reception on July 7th at 3:30pm.

There is a People's Choice Award, so please attend this show before the end of July to cast your vote for your favorite.

I will also be selling art at RiverArts this summer on Tuesday nights, July 18-August 22 (rain or shine) from 4pm-9pm. Come out and view all the vendors and you know, buy art.

so I've had quite a few people offer to model for me, but I'm just not feeling very creative lately, though I really really want to get out there and make some art. I bought a new sketchbook. Maybe that will help.
