.Self captivity.

Another one from my assignment in school, it's a campaign against violence
First part: .White heart.

The black hands are the hate that makes people implement violence. With this photo I am trying to show how it could be like when you're caught in the grip of hate. When you're dragged into something you don't want to, something that you know you'll regret later, but can't do anything to stop.

I have been in this place, and it feels just like this, trapped, frightened, no where to go.  I really like how you used a padded wall as background, and how the way you positioned yourself with the hands is mirroring a strait jacket - it shows the insanity in which you are trapped in these situations, and how it drives you insane.  I don't think a person ever fully recovers after experiences like this, coz once you've been touched by madness, it stays with you.  At least, that's how it feels with me - like, i'm getting better, and getting over it, but i know that "getting over it" will be a life long process, and there are no easy way outs or quick fixes.  The stark contrast between the white and black really create an intense mood, and the fact that we can so easily see the spinal cord almost makes it seem like the hands are ripping you apart.
