After a long period of inactivity I managed to take a few snaps while on a short holiday with my fiancee. Most of them taken in the South West of Western Australia - Margaret River, Witchcliffe and Yallingup.

A couple of months ago I purchased a Bowens Gemini 500R studio flash head, a Bowens Travelpak (portable battery power) and a Bowens Softlite reflector... otherwise known as a beauty dish. They sat around gathering dust until last week where I got a chance to try them out on a willing model. The willing model is my fiancee's younger sister Cherie. My fiancee and her sisters have been blessed with some pretty good genes, as they're all gorgeous and getting better with age. Check out my latest images and I'm sure you will agree =)

Too busy with career to go out shooting or do something creative in the home studio. It sucks. I purchased a new monitor a few weeks ago and whilst it's not the pre-press quality monitor I want to buy, it will keep me going until I can afford it. It has calibrated nicely, and made me realise that I should go back and re-do a number of my images. Once I finish the school year (I'm a teacher), I endeavour to re-do a lot of my photos and then launch a new website to showcase them in a much nicer format.
