Description
This Guardian of Secrets, I decided to name Runa. The name "Runa" is of Scandinavian origin and has multiple meanings across different cultures. In Old Norse, it means "a secret lore" or "a hidden knowledge," referring to the ancient runic alphabet used by the Vikings. In Japanese, "Runa" means "luna" or "moon," symbolizing beauty, femininity, and elegance. Overall, the name "Runa" carries connotations of mystery, wisdom, and celestial beauty.
This enchanted Dragon is approx. 16" high (from foot to top of head) by 12" long (from foot to end of tail). Please see pictures for more size comparisons. She is a great cuddle size!
She was made with a super soft hide faux fur in the color of plumwine. Accenting her features is an iridescent, scale motif fabric that shimmers different colors when moved, and a beautiful glimmering teal.
Runa has embroidered eyes and nose, outstretched wings, and her very own one of a kind necklace. Her wings, ear fins and toe beans have been embroidered by applique using a beautiful shimmering turquoise fabric. The necklace she wears was made special for this dragon as it securely keeps all the secrets from the humans, elves, dwarves, and fairy folk she has met along the way. Each crystal in the necklace symbolized a different untold secret that she guards carefully close to her heart. The necklace can be removed if her new owner wishes to wear it! The necklace was made with beautiful channel style crystal drops in shades of purple, pink and white, and the centre crystal is purple. The necklace also has a crystal paved key, as she is the Guardian of secrets.
Runa took me approximately 30 hrs.
