Ready to Adopt! Life Sized Plush Dragon Sakura

From the Vault of the Purple Nebula comes a very special Spirit of the Forest, "Sakura".
Sakura (桜 or さくら) is the Japanese word for cherry blossom trees and their blossoms – a special flower which symbolizes the spring, the beauty of nature, the renewal, and the ephemeral nature of life.

When I was in Vancouver, British Columbia, I was lucky enough to live on a street lined with Cherry Blossom trees. In the Springtime, when the petals began to fall to the ground, it would look like pink snow. Inspired by these gorgeous, symbolic flowers, I have decided to create a personal project...Sakura. Sakura is a whimsical life-sized baby soft sculpture plush. She measures approx. 28" from head to claw, and about 40" from top of antlers down to her feet. She was made with a variety of hand chosen special fabrics including: a gorgeous muted pink Hide faux fur. This faux fur has a special texture that can look like scales! I loved to pair this super soft fabric with an iridescent metallic spandex that also has a scale motif! This iridescent fabric shines different colors pending how the light hits it. Other fabrics include a gorgeous metallic gold fabric for her claws, a soft long pile faux fur for the back of her head and body, and finally a gorgeous pink, metallic gold and white embossed flower fabric for the underside of her wings! Please note that Sakura naturally looks like she is leaning back looking at the Sakura blossoms (please see photos). If you don't want her to lean back, I have included a Sakura flower pillow in your order so you can prop it under her tail so she is more upright!
Sakura also has embroidered eyes, and embroidered appliqued blossoms and leaves adorning her antlers. This special forest spirit exudes grace and magic and would be a wonderful addition to any collector or dragon lover. She is a one-of-a-kind creation that is very special and will bring much joy and enchantment to your life. This dragon took me approx. 45 hrs of meticulous work and is ready for adoption. Please note that she does have wires in her antlers and wings to keep them upright. Also, please take note of the dimensions of this plush, it is a bigger plush! Please see size comparison photos in this listing. Due to her size and weight, shipping is more. She also comes with a removable enameled Sakura necklace, so you can wear it too, if you want!
Although this baby dragon has been double stitched for durability, due to the delicate nature of the fabrics used, extra care is needed when moving her. I will send you a care care to best care for your baby dragon upon shipment. Although she can be snuggled, she is recommended for display purposes only.
