Become a Beta Tester on DeviantArt!
Join the beta testing program to help test and improve future DeviantArt features!
Beta testing is a cornerstone of DeviantArt’s history, and beta testers benefit the community by providing feedback and usage data. Through bug reports and insight shared during the testing stages, beta testers can help shape and improve site features.
Any deviant can become a beta tester by adding this journal to their favourites. :+fav: New Beta Testers are added daily; once you favorite this journal, you'll gain access the following day. If you decide later that you want to opt-out, you can do so by removing this journal from your favorites and you'll be removed the following day.
:sherlock: How It Works
Beta testers are among the first to see new features introduced to DeviantArt. This early access is provided so deviants can test new features and provide feedback for the DeviantArt team through comments, bug reports, and user engagement metrics before it's released sitewide.

Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with featured exhibits, resources, and a new Profile Skin created by @TsaoShin !
Observed annually in May in the United States, Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is a celebration recognizing the contributions and achievements of people of Asian, South Asian, and Pacific Islander heritage. The observation has been in place since 1979, when it was first observed as Pacific/Asian American Heritage Week, and in the 1990s it was expanded to the full month of May.
For AAPI Heritage Month, DeviantArt is highlighting cultural events, exhibits, online features, and activities you can participate in to enjoy and appreciate some of the wide variety of cultural contributions from Asian, South Asian, and Pacific Islander communities.
Observing AAPI Heritage Month
There are many distinct cultures celebrated during AAPI Heritage Month, and we welcome you to use this journal as a starting point on ways you can observe AAPI Heritage Month.

Seniority Announcement: April 2023
Seniority has been a cornerstone of DeviantArt since its early years, and is an award given to those who have made their mark on the community. These outstanding deviants have been recognized for their level of interaction, helpfulness with others, kindness, sincerity, and many other notable traits. These deviants can be recognized by the medal icon that appears next to their username, and in 23 years, less than 2,000 deviants have received Seniority.
The following deviants, having shown a kindred spirit that has led to continued positive community interaction and involvement, are the most recent recipients of Seniority. Please join us in congratulating them!

Celebrating Deviousness - April 2023
The Deviousness Award is given to one deviant each month in recognition of their exemplary contributions to DeviantArt and its community, and has been a long-standing tradition since DeviantArt’s early years. @WDWParksGal is the recipient of April 2023’s Deviousness Award, so please join us in congratulating her!
A long-time deviant and former Community Volunteer, @WDWParksGal has been a caring face in the community for 17 years. On top of providing a plethora of stock photography for deviants to use to create their own artwork, she’s consistently active in comments on other artists’ works, showing support for creators in a variety of ways. It is with immense gratitude that we name @WDWParksGal the recipient of the Deviousness Award for April 2023.
Greetings fellow deviants! My name is Phyllis, and I reside in the great state of Ohio. Back in the day, I browsed DeviantArt for whatever caught my eye, but in 2005, my daughter tried to get me to join. After months of arguing I

Give deviations a Totally Normal badge!
For a limited time, give deviations and comments a Totally Normal badge and nothing weird will happen!
Have you ever wanted to give a friend on DeviantArt a badge, but wanted it to be less exciting and more…normal? Now’s your chance! Here's a badge whose expression conveys a feeling we've all definitely had at one point or another. With the brand-new Totally Normal badge, you can give a deviant a standard badge that perfectly embodies that classic expression, and whose generosity has no other strings attached!
The Totally Normal badge can be given to deviations and comments and only costs 2 fragments to grant! The recipient of a Totally Normal badge will also get 1 fragment along with their ordinary badge.
When you're the recipient of a Totally Normal badge from someone else, be sure to visit your Profile to see it in all its average glory!
Do you and your friends make this expression constantly? Of course you do! Who doesn't? They'll make the perfect recipients of a

`PurpelBlur, also known as "The Ringmaster", has became an extremely familiar and friendly face within our community. Throughout Travis's time as a volunteer within the Community Relations Team, he excelled in showing real community spirit, promoting contests as well as raising awareness of any community events that were taking place. `PurpelBlur is now a Senior member of our community and continues to show true ringleader style by his constant participation and desire to encourage others to follow that path. It's for all this and much more that we are delighted to bestow the Deviousness Award for March 2011 to `PurpelBlur. Congratulations Travis!
