So, Blender v2.8 will be fully released in July, and the Beta version is already around since awhile. I'm actually not the type that jump in the hype earlier trying out all the new things once the Beta is out. But since there are some crucial changes in the new version and it's almost the full release time, I then thought it's better to 'prepare' for the coming early. Dabbling around, then testing it on a weekly challenge entry, and fortunately no crash ever happening up to the completion (still using Cycles for rendering though).
Anyway, here are some notes regarding the changes, for myself mainly, but hope others can benefit too so I write

... which 'luckily' this second one doesn't lead to sudden massive surge of feedback, lol!

To be honest, these works are not too perfect and even still have some issues (for example is that flat cloud bg on the second one so please don't stare on it for too long), but I'll take this as a big motivator to do even better in the future. Thanks also
