PKMN: Unova Chugga

Woo! Made it while the LP was still going! So yeah, Chugga doing a Pokemon LP, obviously I'm gonna draw me some 'jinkas of the team. From left to right, Ottawa the Samurott, Haywire the Zebstrika, Terrabite the Krookodile, Roc the Archeops, Hilbert the Garbodor, and Hex the Cryogonal.

My design philosophy for these guys was kinda all over the place. I wanted Ottawa to be able to rock the beard her in-game counterpart has, and considering it's my first time drawing a lady rocking a beard she looks amazing with it. Haywire was interesting because I'd already designed a female Zebstrika Pokejinka before (MyBalls, anyone?), so I had to try and distance her from that design. Terrabite was pretty simple, kind of a laid back dude. Roc, I imagine for my 'jinkaverse that the fossil Pokemon aren't revived from fossils but are older cultures, and I specifically see Roc as being a cultural ambassador of sorts trying to keep his people's history alive, so he tends to dress in attire that was common for his ancestors when in big battles to maintain visibility. (He has plenty of casual outfits, don't worry.) Hilbert has kind of that hobo look going on, and the hat was added to kinda call to his namesake. As for Hex, I wanted to play up their genderlessness by making them androgynous, and their outfit...gotta be honest, I have no idea what I was doing, so let's just say they're an ice skater who decided to take up battling.

_{I feel really bad about having been slightly glad about it taking so long for Chugga to get back to posting videos so I could get this done while it's still relevant, especially considering the circumstances as to why that was...}
