Rosalind and Celia by Punchinello-Punch Rosalind and Celia by Punchinello-Punch
Just a thing I finally finished. Inspired by Shakespeare's As You Like It. I have a mild obsession with that play. Anyway, fun bit. If you haven't read it.

Ohh, I love this! AYLI is awesome :)
The girl in the yellow dress (Rosalind or Celia?)'s expression rather reminds me of Fanny from Howl's Moving Castle. Is that odd?

I'll be playing Rosalind with a Dutch theatregroup next year. This picture really does show the relationship between the two and is perfectly fitted to the scène in which Rosalind mourns the leaving of her father and Celia offers Rosalind her heritage.. :) Beautiful!

is this the part where Celia is trying to convince Rosalind that the phantom poem writer is Orlando?

ooh, I remember reading/seeing that play...that was a long time ago, about 9 years ago so I don't remember it very well.
I really like the narrative quality of these two with their poses and expressions. Lovely job with the coloring!
