Pumora

I'm Anne, a freelance knitting and embroidery designer for Pumora since 2010. I'm the author of "Stick dich glücklich" a german book about embroidery, the " Sticken lernen" embroidery online class over at Makerist and more recently the creator of the lexicon of embroidery stitches.

The lexicon of embroidery stitches
This free and online stitch lexicon is a long dream of mine. I love to make tutorials and have been making quite a lot of embroidery and knitting related ones in the past years. The embroidery stitch lexicon is my way of bringing my love for research and learning new things together. For this project I will add all the embroidery stitches I can find to the lexicon one stitch at a time.
I have created a list of stitches which is getting longer every time I look around. I'm totally aware that this undertaking is a path without a finishing line and that is exactly what I love about this. So much to learn and explore!
The lexicon is currently situated on my website pumora.de. It's in english and german. Each stitch is categorized, has a picture tutorial, short explanations on use and translations to other languages (german, french, italian, spanish, portugese... whatever I can find!).
