I find myself wanting to get back into this. Both the art/photography, and the dA community. I'm surprised at how little dA seems to have changed since i went inactive :P
Anyway, I don't currently have a camera :( My FZ7 died. Looking for something wwith at least the same functionality as that, possibly higher image quality, for around the $600 mark. And it has tohave a similar kind of body. I know there are good camers out now with a 'point and click' style body, but I like to feel like I'm actually holding a camera. Alternatively, I'd be interested in experimenting with an old Nikon DSLR. My skill makes a new DSLR out of my budget

I'm back for good, with some minor glitches.
The first major glitch is that I don't have internet at home, so I can't come online unless I'm on campus...which makes it difficult to view all the artistic nudes I have piled up in my notifications, but aside from that I've seen everything :)
The other problem is that SD Card readers are rare on campus and I keep forgetting to bring mine with me. I have some new stuff (photos taken while I was in Milford Sound with my mate) that I can't put up because they're at home and not at campus :(
Eventually they'll get up here, and hopefully one day I'll have the internet in my flat again.

As some of you may have noticed, I've been popping in and out..Very soon, i will be back for good! And I will be working through my backlog of deviations to comment on.
Having said that, I'm not sure how much I'll be able to be on this year, because my workload will be quite intense.
I have some more work to put up, will be going up very soon (either after this or sometime this week. I hope you like it, it's the first I've done (seriously) in a long time
