HOW TO USE (easy steps):

1) You need a FULL EDITION of AIDA64 installed for the next skins: CPU_RAM (partially), PSU, GPU and FANS. Others work independently of AIDA64.
AIDA64 must be running (in the background) all the time!
P.S. Always check out for the latest versions of Rainmeter and AIDA64 .
2) To set up the suite to works properly, configure AIDA64 as follows:
Run the program (AIDA64) and go to:  Files --> Preferences --> External Applications.
-2a) Check the "Enable writing sensor values to Registry" box (must be enabled):
Example
-2b) check the following sensor boxes like on the picture below (you can check them all, but it will use more Hardware resources):
Example
3) Set up AIDA64 to starts up with Windows and minimize [OPTIONALLY]:
Example .

FOR AMD Radeon CARD OWNERS
AMD Radeon Card owners have to easily enter the Total memory amount of their cards manually in the Settings panel, unlike NVIDIA card owners:
Example

ABOUT PSU SKIN
To use PSU Skin, you must have a PSU with Digital Link Interface such as Corsair's RMi, HXi and AXi series. Make sure you checked the PSU related sensor boxes from step 2b.
This is where to enter the Max Power of your PSU in Settings panel:
Example

The GPU, PSU and Fans panel cannot load any information, is there any way to fix it? Thanks.

you "probably" need AIDA64 (Full version), installed, properly configured (see instructions) and running in the background.

Great skin! I set the sensors in HWINFO to Fahrenheit and the skin is picking up the Fahrenheit temp accurately but the skin is stil showing "C" for celsius. What am I missing?

Hi and thx. Go to location C:\Users\User\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\RainformerHWi\@ Resources, find and open Variables.inc file, search for TempUnitLetter=C varible (line 64) and chage it to TempUnitLetter=F.

That did it! Thanks!

Hi, great skin! Need some help tho, weather used to work until 2 days ago when my network went down for several hours, now it's stuck without values. I tried restarting rainmeter and re-applying my location code, it wont pick up anything.

Hi and thx. The weather skin works perfectly for me. Make sure thyt you're using the latest versions of Rainmeter (beta) and the latest Rainformer suite. Weather of Rainformer 2.9 won't work anymore, but with 2.9.1 it should. You could as well try the weather skin of HWiNFO Edition 2.9.2 that uses a little bit different approach. Namely, it uses api.weather.com instead of weather.com like AIDA64 Edition does.

Hello,

I am having issues with the weather app. I seems to "lose" its location, and defaults to 32 degrees.

Thanks

use the latest skin v2.9.1 and see does it work. But for now, only in English.

jbua5150's avatar

2.9.1 seems to have fixed it. Thanks

Me too. Upgrade a few weeks ago. Was working great, then yesterday 32 degrees no other info in weather app. Love this app, love the author. Great Rainmeter skin! Any suggestions?

@Pul53dr1v3r Been using your AIDA64 Rainformer since last year and I just noticed that I'm missing the top right 'arrow' icon to show graphs. (Its never been there even after updating to latest version) Any ideas on how to fix it if possible would be most welcome. Thank you for the awesome skin & your time.

Hi. Use Sublime text ( https://www.sublimetext.com/ ), open the code, go to File => Save with Encoding => UTF-16 LE. Refresh the skin (press middle mouse button over it) or Rainmeter.

Pul53dr1v3r Thank you for the reply. I downloaded sublime text. I opened Network.ini > File > Save with Encoding > UTF-16 LE. Refreshed the skin but still NO change. Am I missing something? Do I have to manually edit something in the .ini file before saving to UTF-16 LE?

have you modified anything there? Probably try to reinstall the suite to see does is work. Did it ever showed correctly? If yes, what have you done when the issue came up?

Sec9's avatar

Pul53dr1v3r I've never modified anything inside of the .ini files in your AIDA64 Rainformer suite, the only edit was the 'Save with Encoding' change you suggested. I just tried a fresh install of the entire suite and the problem still persists. The show graph 'arrow' icon is not there.

I started using your suite late last year and that icon has never shown up correctly for some reason. Still, I appreciate the help & replies, just wish there was a solution to my particular situation. :D

Interesting. What's your Windows version?

Sec9's avatar

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Pul53dr1v3r's avatar
Pul53dr1v3rHobbyist General Artist

oh. That's the problem. The triangle characters used there are Unicode 7 characters with UTF-16 code 0x23F6 as you can see here ( https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+23F6#UNC_VERSION ).

Release date of Unicode 7 is June 2014. while release date of the latest version of Windows 7 is 22. Feb. 2011. It tells you enough...

Hi. It a global issue with all languages exept English, and until the fix, the users should use English variant.
