One of Odin's many names: Hrafnagud, Raven God. For his companions Huginn and Muninn. They fly out across the world at dawn and return to him in the evening with information of what they have seen.

I love mythology and this one is a great example for illustrations in that vein. The texture of the big tree, the gold details, the character and animal's design, the details of the forest floor and how the background is shrouded in a misty veil all add to this wonderfully magical atmosphere.
