Lets see,

First i try to figure out what general gas masses the visual piece would look interesting in. After that it is off to reference searches for inspiration. Often times this allows the mind to wander and envision a mixture of mental images from all the resources and reference gathering. As such when i throw paints onto the canvas, the mind is almost able to see two steps forward into nano seconds in the future. This allows the mind to path and branch into different results. Usually this step is anywhere in the first 30mins to 1hr of any work i do. An abstraction and dictation to what is to come or not come.

In darkest of darkness there are colors still. as such, i often add in tints of color, even in dark areas, thus allowing the mind to wander. It is close to the end that i then just dot in white colors that is much more lighter than the surrounding area, then mix it with a bit of color to the surrounding dot to make it glow. Different sizes of the brush will make the distant of the stars feel either closer or larger. As space is 3 dimensional, even on a painting flat surface, one could still imagine.

It should be a pretty interesting experience then. So sorry for the late reply. These short months sure flew by quickly.

How are you two enjoying the colorable art book so far? Let me know what meditative experience goes through your mind as you color them. 

The creation of the lineart on my end was pretty relaxing. Swirls of line splashes about and then each of those lines bloomed into filigrees and floral. Much of it is spontaneous, just as much as it was inspired by the gardens i saw around me.
