This painting is done with acrylics. The name came about with the notion are you watching time or is time watching you. It sorts of means do you dwell on the bad things that life has given you, such as the inability to stop from growing old. If you dwell on those than you are watching time.

If you do the opposite and you live your life without the fear of those things, then time watches you as you go through life.

NOTE: This painting is not completely done. There will be a clock below where the eye is. But I felt is was done enough to be displayed. Please keep this in mind when critiquing. Thank you!

i love the colors you used in this one, especially the sky and the clouds *__* the pink strokes really add a feeling to it. and what you said about watching time and time watching you... we should try to be ones who choose the second option ^^

Aaah *blush* thank you for the kind words and I am glad that you like some of my paintings.

I know that they are different than what some people are use to but all I hope to do is tickle some peoples imagination and open them up to other types of art styles!! *big hug*

The compostion and color scheme are wonderful, but I think I love the symbolism in this painting the most. It's meaningful and something we can all relate with--"Watching Time" communicates very, very well.

Plus--Acrylics are so hard to work with; the darn things dry up so fast! You rock, girl! Is this on canvas or illustration board?

Hey missy!! I am impressed that someone as talented as you would put one of my pictures as a favorite. *blush*

This is on a canvas that I stretched myself. My first one actually. Before I always bought my canvases already stretched but I did this one.

My mural "My Rendition of Picasso" is on illustration board. A big board though!!

Once again thank you very much for the comment!!

Thank you, "Surrealism" isn't always everyone's favorite style of painting so I appreciate your comments.
