Nylon Van Hoof Ref Sheet

Referance sheet for a new character that's only been briefly mentioned before.


   A resident of Ponyville since he was a colt, Nylon took an early interest in art and painting in particular. Though his first few paintings weren't what you would call "masterpieces" (A few of them do hnag on his parents' walls however) he guradually got better at it as he got older and attended art classes in Canterlot to improve and learn new techniques. Once he'd graduated from high school he moved out into his own house and began to seriously pursue a career as a professional painter though he still does art piceses for rhis own enjoyment. Recently he met a newspaper reporter named Ruby Shimmers whom he almost immediately took a liking to, though it took longer her to begine to return his feelings. They eventually got married and are now eagerly awaiting the birth of their twins foals.

  Nylon has a bulid similar to most other stallions but with some added plumpness around the stomache area. He has a small amount of facial hair on his chin but never lets it grow out into a full goatee. As a painter he owns various art supplies which are stored in the art studio part of his and Ruby's house. He's genrally easy going but perfers not to be distured when working on an art project especially if it's for a customer.
