Get Out of My Ditch

A neat, and yet out the same time unwelcome discovery I made while searching frogs in the ditch along side the house. This pretty sizable cottonmouth(water moccasin) was coiled up on the other side seemly indifferent to all the frogs jumping around him(though he did vibrate his tail as a sign he was aware of my presence. After a while he slithered off into the grass and hopefully to a ditch far away from our house.

Note: I was nowhere near as close to him as the picture implys, I stood on the opposite side of the ditch and used the zoom lenses on my camera.
