Berry Blues - Completed

Completed version of my Blues Noteworthy and Berry Punch sketch along with a little headcanon regarding them.


Blues is a small time musician who moonlights at local gatherings like parties and holiday celebrations, his most signature instrument being the saxophone. Berry Punch runs her parents' bar(The Sunrise Tavern) and contrary to popular belief is not an alcoholic(she does enjoy a drink or two at a party though. The two first met at the Summer Solace celebration and over the course of subsequent meetings gradually came to become friends, with Blues also getting to know Berry's daughter Ruby Pinch(original father unknown). Romance was never on the minds of the two earth ponies at first but with the coaxing of their friends they finally did go on one date for fun. "Fun" though soon blossomed into a long term relationship, Berry coming to love Blues relaxed, easy-going personality and Blues Berry's loving, caring nature.Plus spending time with Pinchy warmed him up to the idea of being a dad, which proved important when some time after their relationship got serious Berry became pregnant. The two are presently engaged to get married.
