Produced in the 1920s of heavy gauge steel, these were great toys.  Now the are highly prized antiques.

3 1/4" gauge. Buddy "L" created an entire outdoor railroad play system including engines, rolling stock, and track to be set up in backyards. The trains were capable of being ridden by children (and can hold up adults for that matter) and were designed for children to sit on the train and push it around by foot power.
