Ok...so this is my second Manipulation, I've been working on it for some time today. I've changed it quite a bit. Anyways...I will appreciate comments and critique. I kind of couldn't figure out the light and shadow thing, but I'll get there...lol...

Nice! I like the composition of this, and that winged thing is creepy, gives it a sense of foreboding. With any artwork the lighting is key, especially where there is a distinct source. You did pretty well with the tree, although that is a hard position to make look real. everything else will be lit from that source, so there shouldn't be highlights on her back or behind her, unless there is something behind her for the light to bounce back from, but can be around her edges. A little bit of highlighting is ok, because the light will bounce off of the ground a little bit, but not strong highlights like on the back of her arm. Everything else in the picture that the light is falling on should have some level of highlight, or the stock photo should have the light aligned the same way. This is where setting up a still life with a lamp shining on it from different directions and studying the way the light falls on everything would help, but also just looking at different photos and concentrating only on the light and shadows.

Thanks Jon, yes that is one of the things that i'm having the hardest time with, its lighting and knowing where to put the highlights, also I think my highlights should have been softer on her arms and hair. thanks sooo much for the tips I will remember not to put highlights on the back if there is nothing to bounce off of or a source on her back. Awesome!! Thanks so much!!! I'm having sooo much fun learning this new thing!!!!

The moon only looks out of place because it appears to be a mountain or large hill behind the trees. And the moon could not obviously be in front of it. As far as the lighting and what not, their are some good tutorials on that around here. Other than that, from what I can see (watermark covers most of it) it looks pretty good.
