Libby needed a break… from daily life, senshi life and just nearly everything else. Fortunately, the school year had ended at Rising Star High and her family was heading to Hawaii for a week-long vacation. Her pack for the trip was light. A few changes of clothes, a swimsuit, and loathe as she was to bring her transformation item, she triple checked that she had it at the ready. Trouble never took a holiday, sadly. The plane trip to Hawaii was relatively uneventful outside of some turbulence, and after leaving their stuff at the hotel, the family headed to a beach that had advertised something about mermaids. Yeah, right. Mermaids can’t be real… can they? That mummified half monkey, half fish thing virtually had ‘hoax’ written all over it. Libby thought back to that thing in History class that she actually remembered.
