Wormholes are created by the application of Strange Energy (essentially created through burning magic). With careful aiming and the right frequencies it can open up temporary pathways to other spaces. A cluster is a group of spaces that can easily open portals to each other, all interconnected. Worlds that can connect to a different clusters have extreme traffic! Natural wormholes may exists, but these are really rare and even more transient.

It is indeed akin to Spelljammer, but instead of a crystal sphere, space breaks down to incoherence at the edges of the solar system. There is only one known instance of something surviving, let alone traveling to another space this way.

This is indeed a modern cat spy, but its more of a generic political machination/industrial espionage done out of spite. Not to say there aren't any people who would want their empire back, but it only had about third of their homeworld and a national park on the weasel world under their thumb. You should see what remains of Chimera Empire's multisystem empire, they have the most sore insurrectionists.

I can't deny Courage The Cowardly dog wasn't a big influence on my art. Amusingly I didn't draw a visible mouth on the cat in an earlier sketch, which would have made him look even more like Katz's neutral face.

I have to say, Samurai Jack was a big inspiration for trying out a lineless style.

Amusing fact, the laptop I have used to draw this has a slightly brighter display than the other laptops I use, so they might blended more into the background than I have intended to, haha!

The cult was dispersed when the Cyclopses sent an armed delegation wielding highly advanced technology, demanding them to hand over a god that lorded over them centuries ago, which turned out to be a high secretary of the cult.
