Illustration and character is mostly what I'm going for, as I believe that is my forte. Rates are all on a case-by-case basis, but the baselines are as follow:
Avatars and Emotes (Bust or Headshot, per piece):
- Lineart: $10
- Colored: $15
Characters (Per character):
- Lineart: $25
- Colored: $40
Illustration:
- Lineart: $50
- Colored: $75

In an effort to not keep working on my things and postpone publishing them until they are "ready enough", I've finally started posting my colored Inktober Pokémon fanarts.
I do have 6 of them done already, so I should have a buffer and get them done before I post them all... let's just hope I can keep up the pacing.
Honestly, I'm optimistic because working on them is really getting me to discover more tools and tricks in Krita and have taken me to actually have a workflow in there, so it's all very exciting right now.
Anyone among my peers here has any experience using dA's Commission system? Is it good to work with? Do people usually hire commissions through it (as opposed to contracts independent from the dA shop system)?
I've finally realized how it works but I immediately started to wonder whether it is really used or a good way to get some odd jobs, or if I should just branch out somewhere else.
