THEY DID IT.
Words cannot describe my joy. I actually screamed out loud and probably woke my mother up.
Youngest, First in Canada, and First in North America to ever win a Gold medal in Ice Dancing.
God, they were beautiful.
Sorry Russia, no controversial aboriginal dance win for you. Also your angry face unamused me during the award ceremony, but Scott Moir practically falling off the podium and Tessa Virtue utterly vibrating with joy made it all better. Also the US dancers are amazing sports, I love them.
Today was the best day of my life (and tomorrow will be better)!!! I skated with Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir!
P.S. For those who don't know who they are olympian ice dancers/figure skaters. You can search them on youtube (they competed in sochi (silver medal) and vancouver (gold medal) olympics!!!!!
Sooooo happyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!

I'm so happie:D
A post about my love of Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir has been long overdue, and today seems like the perfect day to write it. Though it wasn't the completely perfect scenario I was hoping for (in my opinion, the wardrobe malfunction experienced by the French team was an unwelcome distraction that introduced an unfortunate element of ambiguity), the conclusion of the 2018 Olympics ice dance competition was nearly that- perfection.
The soaring heights of emotion that I first felt while watching Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir skate for gold in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics eight years ago (I was just 18 then, and they were only 20 and 22 at the time!
