Oh, a thought just came to me. What would happen if someone engineered bats the ability to make water-proofing oil of most birds?

I guess you would get bats that could feed more easily in water, perhaps even aquatic bats. But the large area of exposed flesh of the wing would loose heat very easily in water.

You mage much Megafauna-animals, wouldn't there be much more smaller species in the Neocene?

well, most of these animals were created by others participating in the project, I'm just illustrating them.

Yes, there are many small animals too.
