Looking west from Crown Point in the Columbia Gorge immediately following a hail storm. The lovely thing about hail is that it accumulates and melts quickly, creating pockets of mist that turn every view into a scene of mystery. This has the added benefit of making photographers exceedingly happy.
A selection from my VIEWS of the Pacific Northwest project, dedicated to capturing sweeping panoramic views from around the area and turning them into high-resolution panoramic wallpapers.
