every other day I wonder
What do you love about me?
Every day I fret
if it will always be enough?
but I hear you laugh and share with me
the facets of your heart
you gave me more than I could need
before I took the part
Every other day I ponder
what's this charm of mine you see?
Every day with no regret
even when I do... foolish stuff.
But I hear you laugh and share with me
the whims behind the rose
You gave me more than I could need
before I held you close.
my foolish heart, it hungered so
it settles for only the best.
How'd you find me, dear princess?
Every other day you remark
"you're an idiot."
every time I'd grin,
from the love behind the chide.
'cause I hear you laugh and share with me
the follies on your mind
you give me more than I could need
no better I could find.
Every other day, it's stronger
our love endures, I feel it!
every time I'd cry
I still have you by my side.
and you make me laugh and share with you
the love I longed to give,
You give me more than I could need,
and grant me cause to live.
I also hope that when Valentine's comes along, those without couples won't feel so bad over it - seriously, there's nothing wrong with being single, either - I suggest to any single peeps reading this to give yourselves some self-love, have a fun day or night out, or stay in and treat yourself to a movie or buy yourself something nice. once you can love yourself you'll be better prepared to love another.
