This old man, he played one...
Knick-knack hunger's never done...

If you ever wondered what happened to this old man, from the knick-knack song, he's hopefully lived a much less horrifying life than I portrayed it to be.

My gf and I found ourselves singing this classic kids song on a whimsy, and somehow I can't help but picture an old man trying to entertain kids with old fashioned toys... when the kids make fun of him, time and time again, they don't know what those jeers did to him. That's when this man snapped, and heard the will of his grandfather, who told him to teach those kids old fashioned values, knick-knacking them violently and going cannibal. He'd have spent the rest of his life in a sanitarium, in solitary confinement, counting the bones of his food, cause he won't eat without them.

Welp, there's a beloved children's song ruined forever. Sorry you guys!

As always Fave if you liked it. If you leave a comment, I would love to hear your feedback! Does this style of literature interest you? Did I cross a line that should have never been crossed? Let me know your thoughts either way!
