This past weekend was the SacAnime Summer 2014 convention in Sacramento, California! This was my first time selling my crocheted plushies in an Artist Alley, and I had such a great time! Some highlights were:Becoming friends with fellow artists in the Artist Alley and trading art with them!Seeing people’s faces light up when they looked at my plushies and recognized their favorite characters!Hearing a lot of encouraging words about my work!Talking to a lot of people who love the same things that I do!

That happened yesterday, but there weren't as many people around as I would have liked, and as a result I have tons of plushies left over. Hey everyone! I know it's been a while in between my submissions lately, since I was very busy with my production artist job at Ohai. Well, as of a couple weeks ago, Ohai has been bought out by a larger company, and as a result, I'm no longer employed... not a good thing, but the silver lining to this rain cloud is that I have plenty of time to make plushies now since I'm in between jobs! Hehehe. So, I decided that I'm going to participate in the San Francisco Arts Market on August 25th to sell some of my plushies.
