Would it be weird to make a new life size plush doll just for the sake to make it wear diapers, and real life baby clothes?

Here are some pics of my current plush doll....

The problem is that she has no stuffing in her arms and legs. Well actually she has some, but not enough to fit in clothing.
Plus her body is the dress she wears, her skirt is only on the front, and all of it is permanently stitched on.
What I want to do is replace her body, make her a full size dress she can wear and take off, and make it big enough so she can also wear actual clothing made for babies and toddlers. Also make her big enough so she can fit in a baby walker, or highchair. (I tried to put her in Both but she's too small.) :P

I can simply un-stitch the arms and legs to add in more stuffing but I would also have to remove the body. It looks as if the arms and legs were stitched from inside the body.
But even if I can add more stuffing it might look weird because the way the arms and legs are stitched to the body are flat.
I personally would think it would be better to give her a new body.

I can just buy the same ones he gets. But the downside is that they resemble too much like a real child. Not to mention my family knows I get mostly Lalaloopsy stuff.
Getting a Huggles doll would bring alot of questions.

Ah, sorry. ^^ I wasn't aware of that. The two build-a-bear plushies I have, I didn't buy at the store. One was a gift, and the other was from a thrift store. ^^;;;

My bunny is very very soft, and fluffy. The bear is more curly and woolly, but still cuddly and soft.
They're a nice size to hug, not too big or small n_n (but then, I'm a fairly small person, 5'1.)
I put them in footie pajamas a lot, and they fit well, only a little too long. Baby dresses look really nice, and fit perfectly! > u <

Weird? Yes. But you are an adult, and you do whatever you want, even if it's weird! Live a little, and make a bigger doll- everyone should treat themselves from time to time!
