This inflation makes the gold coin worth much less and less, but instead of increasing production or tightening monetary policy, the Princess asks those Mario Bros. to keep increasing the money supply by millions of gold coins. This is especially bad for Koopa Kingdom, which is in a monetary union with the Mushroom Kingdom. Their fiscal irresponsibility affects our own ability to function.
