Christopher Basil was bored out of his mind. The whole pandemic had put his life on hold. Unlike many students who were probably elated that schools were closed, Christopher was rather annoyed. He loved school and learning and spent all his free time either in the science lab conducting experiments, or in the school library studying or reading science textbooks for fun. When his school closed, he spent much of his time at the local library reading scientific journals and taking out books on microbiology. However, due to the virus it too closed its doors, as well as all the other libraries around town. Christopher had breezed through the books he had borrowed before the closure, many of them full of information he already knew. The high school senior now just lay there in his bed while staring up at the ceiling. The minutes seemed to tick by slower and slower. It was close to 11 AM and he was still in his pajamas. Drink soda pop in front of him. Refuse to sit still and fidget a lot while he's using you as a test subject and/or sample donor. Tell him he dresses like a dork/nerd. Bite him while he's flossing your teeth. Don't do the tutoring assignment he gave you. Call him boring. Touch his experiments with your bare hands. Yank his necktie. Call him "mom" when he's giving one of his lectures on why things like soda pop and video games are bad and why studying is good. Tell him that arts are better than sciences. Accuse him of trying to be a teacher's pet. Make loud noises or be generally disruptive while he's playing chess.

Elliot Smith was running down the school hallway, being quickly pursued by four angry individuals. “Get back here, you stupid turd!” the leader of the group shouted. Oh, why did he have to mouth off to these guys, Elliot thought to himself. He should have known they’d kick his ass. Elliot quickly ducked around a corner and looked for somewhere to hide. He spotted a classroom and ran inside. He quickly closed the door behind him and listened closely as his pursuers ran past. Elliot let out a sigh of relief. Hopefully he could hide out in this place for the moment until he figured out what to do. That’s when he felt a hand on his shoulder and nearly jumped. “Oh, hello there,” came a friendly voice. Elliot turned around to see another student. This individual appeared to have crimson red hair and was dressed rather formally in a cyan-coloured dress shirt with a dark-blue bow tie and dark-blue dress pants. After what felt like an eternity for Tyler, though was likely only several minutes, William finally stopped drilling and walked over to a nearby counter. After making a few more noises Tyler wasn’t sure of, William returned holding an instrument in his hand. This instrument contained the filling that was going in Tyler’s tooth. William inserted the filling into the cavity with some force to make sure it was in nice and tight. Tyler griped and groaned as he was subjected to more pain. William then changed the bit on the end of his drill to a different one. He then used the drill to help shape the filling in Tyler’s tooth. He held Tyler’s tongue back down with the tongue depressor as he did so. “Alright, I’ll need you to bite down on the filling to make sure it fits and settles in correctly. Don’t bite too hard or it will crack and I’ll have to redo the filling,” William said as he removed the suction hose, then unhooked the dental gag from the chair and removed it from Tyler’s mouth.

Tyler McCrimmon was walking along the school hallway during lunch. As he passed one of the school’s science labs, someone reached out and grabbed Tyler, dragging him into said lab. After being momentarily shocked by the sudden pull into a new location, Tyler began looking around in confusion. “Hey, wait a minute! He wanted to get a good look at this pushy individual. Said individual was a fellow student of average height with crimson hair. A white medical mask was covering his face. “Would you care to tell me what you are doing?!” Tyler demanded, rather annoyed at this person for dragging him in here. “Sure!” William Vanderhausen replied in a very cheery manner, “I’m going to examine your teeth to see what condition they are in.” William’s

Alternate title: The Importance of Flossing It was lunchtime at Christopher Basil’s school, and he had just finished brushing and flossing his teeth after a nice lunch. After straightening his necktie and fixing his shirt cuffs in the washroom mirror, he returned to his locker to put away his toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental floss.
