bisexuality does include all genders just like pansexuality, but the difference is pansexuals dont care about gender when it comes to who they're attracted to (for the most part) while gender is something bisexuals take into account. (think preferences) Was that confusing? Here lemme say it another way. Lets say you have a list of things you'd want in a partner, for pansexuals gender would be closer to the bottom while it would be closer to the top or middle for bisexuals.
bisexuality has always included all genders. read the bi manifesto. btw the way you implied trans women are just men that identify as women and trans men are women that identify as men. yikes
to all those who want to expand the definition of bisexual so you can keep your cool flag, "bi" literally means just two, though sure it can include transgender people if you want it to cuz it's still referring to the "binary". so it's only to the exclusion of non-binary people, but there's another word for what you're referring to. it's called polysexual. please pick up a dictionary.
i think the reason people are trying to say bisexual has essentially the same definition as polysexual is because saying you're only attracted to cis people or the binary sounds transphobic or enby-phobic. it's not, you can't fault someone for honestly just not being attracted to that kind of person, it's okay. there are other people who would better enjoy a sexual relationship with them, you don't need to feel bad for that and especially don't need to make anyone else feel bad for that.
