Gxrl (pronounced like girl-x)

A gender that is both girl and agender/no gender. You can be a girl and agender/no gender at the same time, go between them, or fluctuate between feeling female and not feeling gender.

  • Emphasizes being female.
  • Spelled gxrl with an X instead of an I as if you’re crossing out that you’re a girl.
  • Kinda similar to demigirl (where agender/no gender is the non-girl part), agenderflux (with fluctuations between agender and female), or being genderfluid between agender/no gender and female.
  • Can be used as transgxrl if you chose to, but only if you’re amab (similar to trans feminine being exclusively for amab trans people).

So idk if I missed it, but what does each colour symbolise?

Also, though the original creator might not have intended for the specific varied spelling.. I am fairly certain there's also xirl? When looking into demigirl stuff, I came across that term, so I was thinking that could potentially have been a naturally occuring variant?

It's a combo of the agender flags with the "usual" colors for a certain gender. Black for agender, gray for partial gender.
And yeah there's also a xirl but they're different definitions! Xirl doesn't need to be part agender

Holy heck yes! I was the coiner of this term, since someone else (sadghostbxy) on Tumblr coined bxy, I (themercyrose) coined gxrl in conjunction with it. Thanks for the flag, I love it!! I didn't expect to see a flag so soon!
I choose to pronounce it "girl-x" out loud, since well, it's kind of hard to say as it's spelled. But I'm open to any other interpretation :)
