Gender Creative: A person who’s conception of their gender intrinsically differs from the prevailing social norms.

Term coined by: Leslie Ellen (I think)

Designed by: Leslie Ellen

Color meanings: The gender creative pride flag is constructed of two exterior lavender fields in opposition, a composite of the pink and blue fields found in the transgender pride flag and an interior white field one-fifth the proportion to the remainder. Lavender represents the blurring of binary gender norms whereas white represents freedom of gender expression.

So this is an umbrella term for both transgender and GNC people?
For anyone still confused, the tldr of this is it's an alternate name for gender nonconforming. The reasoning is so that gender creative/nonconforming people can have a place in the LGBTQIA+ community, since their experience in society + with their gender can be very similar to the trans one (think how intersex people share a lot of struggles with trans people). The reasoning for changing the term is so that it sounds less openly defiant and more like just an identity someone might have.

Note: the way OP describes gender nonconforming is very similar to the way nb people experience gender, too. they seem to imply that the lines between cis and trans can be very blurry, thus the connection to the community.

Love the LGBT flags but I kind of feel sad when I see comments that say people having the flags are shoving it down your throat. I'm not trying to do that by putting LGBT stamps on my profile, it's just like with any other stamp people use but no one complains

Yeah I hate that, simply existing is "shoving it down their throats" -.-

Exactly, but I guess there are some people that just don't like any type of flag being flown, if that makes sense. If people have an issue with the stamps on my profile, they can unwatch me
