Aplatonic: Not feeling platonic attraction. The term was originally created in the aromantic community, as well as by trauma survivors and neurogivergent folks to describe their experiences. Platonic attraction exists on a spectrum, just like there's a spectrum for sexual and romantic attractions. The abbreviation for aplatonic is "apl" (pronounced "apple").

"The colours are the inverse of yellow, brown and pink (typical colours used to represent friendship) with the white stripe signifying that an aplatonic person can still be allosexual/alloromantic (well, it’s actually cream because it’s slightly more aesthetically pleasing :P (Lick))"

Do you think having a platonic orientation is wrong? Like panplatonic for example. I don't think so because for me platonic friendship is more deep than other friendship.

Well platonic friendships /are/ "regular" friendships. Unless you're talking about queerplatonic/quasiplatonic, then no, there's nothing wrong with it :p

as an apl person I'd like to comment that "getting to know someone in a nonsexual nonromantic way" isn't an accurate descriptor for platonic attraction because it can also describe alterous attraction. Since alterous attraction is coined now it should probably be addressed bc as an alloalterous aplatonic this makes me uncomfortable...

tbh the definition is just "not feeling platonic attraction". People can interpret that however they want
