Amicus- A subset of demi- where one only develops a type of attraction to those they are friends with.

The difference between Amicus- and Demi-

“Amicus- is specifically for platonic relationships/friendships. Demi- applies to any sort of bond or long-term interaction. I’ve heard of demi- people start experiencing attraction just by being in someone’s presence repeatedly for extended periods of time, like a classmate or workmate situation, or have a relationship with someone because they anticipate the attraction coming and they don’t mind non-attracted interactions (like a cupio- type situation).“
