This one was a pretty close call!
It was an entry for the Swedish Super Comics #10 cover-contest a few months back, where I teamed up with my mate
to make a shot at the gold.
Trouble was, Hoff had one big load of technical problems scanning the piece, so I only got it two days prior to deadline, and I'm sadly not fast enough yet to finish a piece like this in that time period.
So things were lookin' pretty grim.. until we asked for a reprieve on the deadline, and you know what? We got it! And who do you think won the contest in the end? Well, WE of course! ^^
Good fun with this one, which is obviously a tribute to Jim Steranko's classic Hulk King-Size Annual #1 (1968). Hmm... why didn't we add that in the actual piece...? Oh well.
