In the real-world, I'm a 37-year-old accountant from London (England). I'm the Group Scout Leader of my own Scout Group, which I really enjoy, seeing the children grow and learn new things. I love to read - generally a mix of modern SF and classic fairytales; I know those two things don't really seem to go well together, but that's me, a weird collection of things that probably shouldn't go together but kinda do anyway.
I have zero artistic skill. Seriously. You'd never want to see me draw, I can't even do a good stick-man. Because of this, I choose to turn to those with real artistic talents, and commission them to make lovely drawing and paintings of my ideas for me.
I like to play computer games, but I definitely don't keep up with modern computer games. Instead, I prefer to play older games from my own childhood, a mix of PC games such as Quake and Carmaggeddon, games for the SNES console, such as my favourites by Quintet - Actraiser, Soulblazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma, Robotrek (as well as an emulated version of The Granstream Saga for the PS1) - and others even older (like the games for my Amstrad emulator), or for modern PCs (the early installments of Quake, G-Police, The Sims, Black & White, Spore). In modern PC games, I tend to prefer first-person shooters like Doom/Quake/etc or Sim-style games like The Sims, SimCity, Black & White, or Spore.
What else? Oh yes, I dance. I had been taking regular ballroom dancing classes since I was 6 years old, and can dance moderately well. I used to attend amateur ballroom competitions every year, and was a very frequent medallist. I really want to take up dancing again, but between work, study, and Scouting, I haven't the time. When I finish my professional studies, I will though.
