Both, extrovert at work mainly, I specialize in customer service and I find it easy to speak with others in difficult situations. I'm at work everyday for most of the day.
When I'm off the clock I try to indulge conversation but I'm awkward and often do something to make the other person upset with me and I get discouraged in approaching people and try to avoid conversation.
I can't greet everyone by saying: Hello Sir/Ma'am, may I offer a menu to expand your horizon?
I can't use my lines with everyone and I can't approach people about things I notice about themselves, I notice a lot of lies abs can read body language but if I tell them about whatever it is and they get defensive and I feel like they don't want to hear it and that I did something wrong.
I used to be very intro before my job and since then I've tried to be more social but I feel like I'm doing it wrong. So I'm extremely selective of when I decide to talk/start conversation.
