Hi Brianne. I am a fan of Harpy Gee, and now I came here because you have closed the comments threads in the comic.

I understand why you did it, some people just can't behave. But I miss the (mostly) nice and cheerful and informative comments and commenters that used to express themselves there. Even I wrote some opinions, and believe me, I usually don't do it in the webcomics I read. Yours is one of the two or three that motivate me to do so.

This writing is not to ask you to open again the comments in Harpy Gee. It is your work and you are entitled to manage it as you see fit. But, as I said before, I crave the opportunity to convey my thoughts and feelings when I admire each of the comic strips. Specially now, that it feels is going toward some sort of climax, with a very intense and dramatic development.

Also, I wanted to express my sincere admiration for your work, and now that it is in a (short) hiatus, assure you that we your faithful readers are waiting impatiently for your return, but always grateful for all these years you have given us Harpy Gee with so much quality and constancy, almost never missing an update and never failing in delivering a high standard in your writing and your art.

I guess all I wanted to say is: thanks, Brianne. If there comes a time when you won't produce any more Harpy, for me it would be sad, but by now you have gifted us with so much joy and pleasure that you don’t have to worry that we would harbor annoyance or disappointment. You have created something memorable and valuable, that will accompany and comfort me, reminding me to smile whenever life makes me feel tired and sad.
