[Return to the Zone] - 33/33 - Epilog.
The events of the last few days had also left their mark on Nikolai. He drank more than he used to before and smoked much more than normal.
Dreams tormented him... or memories?
Why did he let himself be made an accomplice to the Zone?
He thought about how it all began when he heard the song in his office.
Why had he started to interfere? Was it really just for saving Ruslan's life back then, or was there more behind it? Was he perhaps just the bait? If so, what was the Zone?
Even though he knew that most thoughts did not dissolve in alcohol, he continued to persistently try.

I then wanted to know how old the boy was, because by chance I knew the game and knew that it was a NC-17 title. Valentine didn't want to betray any more, but he was almost 16. After all.
I also wanted to know whether his assignment was over or whether he actually wanted to stay in the Zone. He only hinted that he was no longer work
