Romero - Escape from New York by popicok Romero - Escape from New York by popicok
Based on this still from the film: backgroundartists.tumblr.com/p…

Romero (Frank Doubleday) and the president's finger. He doesn't have many lines, but he has brilliant body language. The other characters all seem a bit stock, great style, but flat. Romero is something different, odd, scary, unpredictable. He moves like a dancer.

Thanks! It's one of the few films I watch again every few years and always like it. Very dry, great soundtrack.

I only saw it for the first time recently, but it's definitely something I want to watch again. The main theme is one of my favorite tracks from any movie.

Great stuff, the character has about ten words but was so memorable, and this was his most memorable moment :)

Yes, it's almost a disappointment when he gets offed by the gormless Brains!
