This image, even though is the first of 2018, it was indeed rendered during the very last days of 2017. It follows the trend of my last few images, where there's a focus on depicting images with a bit more of realism, while also focusing on the cartoon aspects of the props that tag along. If you know my art, you know that I'm always trying to push and challenge myself, and this is a good example of it: sexy and fun! I hope you like it as well.
I do have to mention that this is another image that made me sweat. Not because of the difficulty level (which was already a challenge), but rather due to a tight deadline to render it. I had to leave to Mexico to spend New Year's with my family. I knew I wouldn't be able to work while there, therefore it was crucial for me to finish the New Year's pin-up before starting my trip. I did finish in time, but not without working many many hours straight with no rest and barely any sleep, during the last days before my trip. I wanted to have this image ready so I could post it on January 1st to my patrons (and eventually here)... and I made it!
As I mentioned, this is the last image created in 2017 and the first one posted on 2018, a new accomplishment for a new year. On that note, I truly want to thank all my patrons and all the people that support me and my artwork in any way. This past year was full of accomplishments, plans, dreams, goals, etc. 2018 in a way is a continuation of those dreams and goals. I am confident that I'll be able to do much more for my artwork this year, in and outside the canvas. So, stay tuned, because you'll be seeing more and more artwork as a product of those expected accomplishments.
Last but not least: thank you... no, really, thank you so much for your support, I truly appreciate it. I hope that this year brings you a lot of accomplishments too, of any kind. This a new year, let's start it with lots of energy, so we can make it to the end of it. It seems like it's a long road, but trust me, it's not. Besides that, it's not about getting there, but rather enjoying the journey. Happy New Year 2018 everybody and let's keep rockin' on! See you next time!
Nicely done as usual
