Felt Bakery by pookat Felt Bakery by pookat
I've had tons of bugle beads (the long thing glass beads) for some time... and while they are beautiful and I like them I've had a hard time finding a lot of things to use them for. I've seen them used as sprinkles on felt food and I've seen a few felt doughnut tutorials that followed the same general idea so I made some myself. I looked at a tutorial here on DA that suggested using a CD to make a pattern and it worked splendidly.

The pattern was so simple so it was easy to make, hand sewing all those sprinkles and everything was pretty time consuming though. Because of the time vs. amount anyone'd be willing to spend on them I didn't want to make many of them...but I ended up making a ton just because I really wanted to take a picture with the frame saturated with doughnuts like this. XD

I may start listing them on my etsy [link] but if I haven't feel free to contact me if you do want to buy one. I'm thinking $6? Yeah, 6 sounds good XD

These are long gone and I Don't make them anymore, 30 points is worth less than a dollar when I was asking at least $6 for them at the time, and I only accept real currencies for my work.

How do you cut the holes in the middle?

I just sort of fold it in half, make a cut where the hole will be and then cut out the hole from there
