One and a half years after the last journal I made...
I'm still not dead! And today's update has happy news and I'll even spare you most of the boring life updates!
Boring life update first! LOL In nutshell version, to speed things along!
I work at Walmart now! I'm a cashier/fitting room attendant.
Happy life updates! Also in nutshells!
I got a new apartment and no longer live in a tiny efficiency. Hooray for government housing!
I have a new boyfriend who's totally wonderful!
We qualified for the government housing because WE'RE HAVING A FREAKING BABY AND IT'S ALL NATURAL BECAUSE HOLY FUCK I WON THE GENETIC LOTTERY.
Yes, the second half of that needed to be in all caps. I'm six months in and still can't believe I managed to get pregnant without hormone therapy.
Related to the impending baby (due in June) the boyfriend and I are getting married next month! Nothing fancy, just a courthouse shindig.
I'm sure there are other things I'm forgetting, but I have to leave to pick up the fiancee and our coworker from Walmart, where we all work, and then make dinner.
I swear I will come back and respond and post more and whatever soon, and not drop off for another 18 months.

Last time I wrote a journal entry, I swore I wouldn't drop off for another 18 months, and be here more often, and it has been two years and a couple months since then. Ah, I'm useless. XD
Anyway, had the baby, another girl, and she's almost two. Bought a house with the now husband and the coworker, and we've been in the house together for a year now. Still work at Walmart, but I hate every minute of it, LOL.
Been drawing a bit lately, a couple pages of Lost and Found, not that anyone is even still waiting for new pages of that anymore, but it's entire purpose was to give me something to draw to work on improving my art, so it's still valid

What does your username mean? A Pooka is from Changeling: the Dreaming, and is one of the races, specifically an animal aligned trickster with a flair for fun and not taking anything seriously. My character's name was Angharad (which is also the name of the main character from The Rowan) and I needed a new email account after Juno died a horrible death, so I used my character's race and name and have been using it periodically since for usernames.

I was flipping through my art folders and I came across a picture I made for L&F that is supposed to fall roughly six pages from where I last posted (two years ago), and I almost snorted my coffee with a laugh. I have all these pages drawn... maybe I'll just take pictures with my camera and hope for the best, or drag out me REALLY OLD MOSTLY BROKE scanner and try to get it to scan half a dozen pages before it's final burial. The page on the computer is older, and it's one of the first I drew after introducing Ty'lani, but the faces everyone is making is great... and it has a Naga and I love how she turned out. And I have a few pages drawn
New job...
It's going pretty well. All the residents are old enough that I can joke I clean collectables and antiques all day. I'm an antique butt wiper. :XD: They are also so old they have a habit of meeting me for the first time every time they see me, but it's sweet. A lot of them are at the point where they can't remember anything past their favorite activity, so we have the residents who get really excited about eating, or for shower night, because they remember liking it. And it wouldn't be a retirement home without the one sweet old grandma addicted to Jeopardy. :XD:
